Grass fed beef, raised and finished on the same grass.
Every animal we sell was born, raised and finished in Cleburne County, Arkansas, on ground the McCuiston family lives on. Nothing is bought in and nothing is blended with beef from another operation.
What we cut
Because we sell one animal at a time, the list changes as they come back from the processor. What is always there is ground beef, which makes up the largest share of any carcass and is the honest workhorse of a grass finished animal.

Pasture raised, and we mean the whole life
Pasture raised is another phrase that gets used loosely. On this ranch it means the animal was on grass from birth to finish. There is no period at the end where it stands in a lot eating corn to put on weight quickly, which is what happens to most beef sold as pasture raised.
Buying a freezer's worth
If you would rather buy in bulk than by the cut, a half beef or a quarter beef is the cheapest way per pound to eat this beef, and you choose the cut sheet yourself.

Is your beef grass fed or grass finished?
Both. The cattle are raised on grass and finished on grass on the same ranch. They never go to a feedlot and they are never finished on grain.
What breed are your cattle?
South Poll, a breed developed in the American South to finish well on grass in heat and humidity.
Where is the beef processed?
In Arkansas, close to the ranch.
Can I buy just a few cuts instead of a share?
Yes. We sell by the cut as animals come back from the processor, and by the half or quarter for people filling a freezer.
